Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Portrea, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Portrea is operated by Team Solo / Berat Berkay Gökdemir ("Portrea," "we," "us," or "our"). These terms form an agreement between you and us, in addition to any applicable Apple App Store terms.
The service
Portrea uses artificial intelligence to transform a reference photo into a professional-style portrait. Outputs are generated probabilistically and may contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unexpected changes. Results are not identity documents and should not be used where an authentic, unaltered photograph is legally required.
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee that every style, model, or feature will always remain available.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to use Portrea. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf.
Your content and generated portraits
You retain your rights in photos you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, and process those photos solely as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.
As between you and Portrea, and to the extent allowed by law, you may use generated portraits for personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use does not violate another person's rights or applicable law. We do not guarantee that an AI-generated output is unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
You may not use Portrea to:
- upload a photo you do not have permission to use;
- impersonate, deceive, defraud, harass, exploit, or harm another person;
- create unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or rights-infringing content;
- attempt to bypass security, usage limits, payment controls, or access restrictions;
- reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where law expressly permits; or
- use generated portraits as official identity, biometric, or evidentiary records.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or legal obligations.
Tokens, purchases, and refunds
Portrait generation uses tokens. Token packages are consumable, one-time in-app purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Consumable token purchases cannot be restored through an Apple Account. Prices and available packages are shown in the app and may vary by country or currency.
Payments, billing, and eligible refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, purchases are final. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Third-party services
Portrea relies on third-party services including Apple, RevenueCat, and FAL AI. Their separate terms may apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portrea is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss of profits arising from your use of Portrea. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Portrea during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
